Islamic assets based on Ijarah could easily be securitised as they are representing a partial share in the underlying asset. Pure Murabaha securitizations are regarded as debt trading which is not permissible with the exception of Malaysia.

Company shares are tradable as long as the cash and cash equivalents like debt are exceeding certain limits (50 %), which are regarding as resulting in debt trading itself.
